When I, Andre, was 18 years old visiting the Amazon in Ecuador ๐ŸŒฟ, I realised how far I had grown away from nature. The insects bothered me, the heat bothered me, I felt somewhat uncomfortable in the purest forest in the world and at the same time I felt fascinated ๐Ÿคฉ Observing the indigenous communities completely adapted to such a natural place, full of millenary knowledge, seeing up close the unbridled exploitation of resources and paradoxically feeling the existential crisis of these millenary cultures because of “development”, woke me up. It became a priority for me to reconnect with the natural space of which we are a part, just another part, and also to work for a more natural and humane perception of development.

We are facing one of the greatest challenges in our history as human beings: extreme climate variability, the consequences of which increasingly challenge our presence on earth. The neediest regions of the world are those that contribute the least to such variability and at the same time are the most vulnerable. The worldview of “development” is based on the erroneous idea that natural resources are infinite and is directly related to the causes of climate change (COยฒ emissions). It is clear that we have become self-imbalanced. It is our daily actions and decisions on which we depend to move towards a more sustainable lifestyle and to create a conscious and self-determined concept of development that contributes sustainably to our evolution as a species and to our balance with nature. Supporting the work of international civil society is essential to create sustainable social, economic and environmental policies that can be considered by governments.

From this global challenge comes the motivation to create our own path to development, our own Earth View. We are convinced that deep interaction with other realities creates the basis for a middle and empathetic space that combines the positive aspects that modernity offers, without neglecting our natural and historical roots. We envision creating a space where we can demonstrate that this change is possible, and along the way grow with a global community.

Through this medium we want to share humanity, information, joy and inspiration as a family, we want to share with you our experiences, our learning, our day to day, and with them invite you to awaken natural consciousness, your natural consciousness, our natural consciousness from three perspectives: Latin America (Ecuador๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡จ/Nicaragua ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฎ), Europe (Germany ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช) and Africa (Namibia ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Malawi ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ผ).
